A woman who wanted to remain anonymous and who attended the protests in Iran gave a chilling testimony about what occurred on the ground amid the government’s crackdown. “Everyone was being shot in the head. I don’t think they have space in the jails anymore, so they are just killing us. There are lots and lots of people being sprayed with tear gas; it burned our lips and our eyes,” she said. “Without help from the outside, they just kill everyone.”

We cannot find enough good people to fill the empty positions we need filled in our local police departments. Think about that. Not enough qualified people in the US to be police. Yet we can get thousands of clean qualified officers for ICE. HOW?

Waste Management made twenty-two billion dollars in revenue last year. Their CEO took home seventeen million in total compensation. And they could not keep a single recycling plant running for one full year. But here is where it gets interesting. This was not a failure. This was a pattern.
